  I remember the first time I ventured into the world outside the stuffed animal fluff.  Or, inside.  I was horrified to find that beneath Teddy Ruxpin’s neat little vest was a control panel. I investigated further and found a bunch more plastic where I had expected pleasant furriness like his arms and legs.

  So I connected the dots and attacked my Cricket doll.  Same sad story.
